The AO25 Intellectual Disability Championships unfolded at Melbourne Park, Australia, from January 24 to 26, 2025. Taking place alongside the prestigious Australian Open, this event highlighted the talent and resilience of athletes with intellectual impairments. Sixteen elite players from around the world gathered for an intense and inspiring competition.
Now in its third year, the Intellectual Disability and Deaf Championships continue to grow. Organized in partnership with Virtus, the International Sports Federation for athletes with intellectual impairments, the tournament promotes inclusivity and excellence in sports.
